@Creepis As stated, there are some bugs and flaws I will be fixing in the short term. @sza I addressed the pattern idea in a previous comment. @Clarky Animations are not my responsibility, but yes, if reworked I would like them all to obscure vision less.

Well, currently it is random to a large degree. So having more of a pattern would be one of the things I would put in the poll to see if that may be desirable.

So as an update with nothing new yet. I was looking at new ways we could do recoil, so a lot of testing various means with nothing definitive yet that has felt right. I might make a comprehensive poll about gunplay as it currently is soon.

It isn't really as simple as that. So right now I will not be looking too much into this sorry to say but eventually I will see if there may be a different solution possible.

I agree @Clarky all owned doors can be locked which at a certain point becomes troublesome for carrying enough tools in some properties. A breaching shotgun, I think that should be restricted to police like C2 is. As for blowing off the hinges, that'd be based on distance probably, more often...

Part of my thinking for this was simply that C2 can be detonated safely nearby as it is a "shaped" charge designed to blow open a door. A grenade on the other hand requires you to clear the area. Crowbars and lockpicks require you to put yourself in a vulnerable spot though which often results...

We can easily modify what all the timed/remote ones do as well as make it so grenades would not open metal doors plus their range would be tiny by comparison. Also grenades themselves are not very cheap so it's not the most economical decision to use to do this task. It's more so to have the...

To further demonstrate this. Here's a before and after for the ACOG at the "rifle" range. At the range it might seem helpful having that kind of zoom but in theory the small amount of zoom lets you track and sight in a target better especially when taking shots. Before: After:

It actually makes it infinitely nicer to use, between the small sight picture and too much zoom it's really not very good as it is now, nor would it be with only increasing the sight picture. Here's an example at the "rifle" range, as it's not meant for sniping in the same way scopes are.

As an added bonus, here's an example of how the ACOG would now look when adapted to scale. It isn't much magnifcation, otherwise it would be just as good as an actual scope, so to keep it proportional it had to be nerfed but it still could be helpful in some cases.

There is quite a bit but this will make it less so you might not be able to tell. Anyways, here's a before and after at the longest range using the Nightforce. The before seems good in theory but with moving targets and the target is near the farthest reach of draw distance... It might not be...

Keep in mind that this will severely limit scopes for their magnification so there won't be large differences between each one. Which some people may like and others won't, but vote however you feel about the idea behind it.

One thing to note, this may result in some of the scopes clipping into your face when taking a shot (mainly noticing with the M24 when using the bolt to load a new bullet into the chamber) but I think it's worth the tradeoff as it's minor and not a huge problem if you ask me.

So in review, it does not have a place for the light per se, but I likely put it where it is simply because it does not have any other place available; as to ensure "recognition" that it is an emergency vehicle when its emergency lights are on. Plus as it is an undercover vehicle, we can make...

The compact one is one of the worst, when I was going through them to enhance how close they are to increase the sight picture, it was pretty obvious. So it is slightly better with the changes I made, but the reticle on it is also quite huge so that also makes it bad no matter what.

@SomeUser I don't disagree with you. Unfortunately some of them really have no good way to be fixed no matter what we do simply because of how bulky the sight's housing itself is, which ends up blocking a lot of the screen inadvertently. There are updates I would like to do to them, but like...

That said, I have made a small change to all sights, that's yet to go live, which increases their sight picture size some. @Clarky I'm well aware of that, and it's always been a topic of discussion. It's not for me to unilaterally decide for something like that though because of how it changes a major component of gunplay which is a major thing that players get accustomed to so the smallest of changes affects every...

@Baba That's not totally unrealistic but obviously I will see what can be done. That may also happen because we need it to burn "around" objects too (e.g. a coffee cup won't make fires have no effect if between a player and the fire)

@Clarky The magnified scopes may always be a problem simply because of how they work. Not much I can do there. Unless we want to revert to having no peripheral vision while using one which I think many people would probably dislike.
