I guess some bans can seem worse at face value, esp if you weren't there for the sit and whatnot. But I do agree sometimes there are harsh punishments.

I think a few people are looking into exactly what bans were mentioned by jack when that's really not the point of the post. There is a risk that newer players aren't guided properly. However, the staff team has been making efforts to be coherent on how newer players are treated, which is great.

I understand all of the responses here. An extension of this idea would be to make it so this is a form of a blacklist. People who break NLR regularly can have blacklists put on their respawn time, making it so they have to be dead for the entire 10 minutes rather than having the NLR timer

The idea of "make staff do their job" is not constructive. If staff members have to constantly regulate menial rule breaks they won't have as much energy or time to deal with the reports that take 30 odd minutes of investigation. Luke and XQ were always pushing for the idea of "rule to feature"...
