you can get the crosshair in your gmod settings, some people use Crosshair X but the gmod one works fine for me. you just have to enable it in your F1 menu

I agree there should be something done about this, these and office windows are completely impenetrable with any weapon. I think removing the windows would also help with FPS and fix this issue entirely, even with the map being so optimised.
