Side note: I will correct the location of that sprite though as it seems oddly in a different place than it should be for the excuse to have any merit.

So in review, it does not have a place for the light per se, but I likely put it where it is simply because it does not have any other place available; as to ensure "recognition" that it is an emergency vehicle when its emergency lights are on. Plus as it is an undercover vehicle, we can make...

Next time send me a private message but thank you for bringing it to my attention. I will respond further when I get back to my computer and look into it. I am quite certain that was not the case when I was setting them up.

The compact one is one of the worst, when I was going through them to enhance how close they are to increase the sight picture, it was pretty obvious. So it is slightly better with the changes I made, but the reticle on it is also quite huge so that also makes it bad no matter what.

@SomeUser I don't disagree with you. Unfortunately some of them really have no good way to be fixed no matter what we do simply because of how bulky the sight's housing itself is, which ends up blocking a lot of the screen inadvertently. There are updates I would like to do to them, but like...

That said, I have made a small change to all sights, that's yet to go live, which increases their sight picture size some. I'd still like to improve some further but it requires editing the model and probably some other factors so it will have to do for now. Since some of them were incredibly...

@Clarky I'm well aware of that, and it's always been a topic of discussion. It's not for me to unilaterally decide for something like that though because of how it changes a major component of gunplay which is a major thing that players get accustomed to so the smallest of changes affects every...

@Baba That's not totally unrealistic but obviously I will see what can be done. That may also happen because we need it to burn "around" objects too (e.g. a coffee cup won't make fires have no effect if between a player and the fire)

@Clarky The magnified scopes may always be a problem simply because of how they work. Not much I can do there. Unless we want to revert to having no peripheral vision while using one which I think many people would probably dislike.

It's not so much the particles that cause lag with fires, it's other factors. Most of which are not a reasonable fix unfortunately. One day maybe.

Part of the reason I made them taller is because currently it's easy to get too close without realizing it while now you have a better idea of just how far it can burn you from. Additionally it allows firefighters to spot a fire that may be in more of a recessed area from outside. As you can...

So... I got bored of vehicles (I'll resume them shortly), so I did something else fun. I have changed up the fire effect to be a lot better if you ask me. There are more changes that could/should be done with fires but for now I focused solely on how they look. Before: After:

I mean I will be reviewing each one's "drifting" or "handbraking" whatever term you prefer to ensure it acts appropriately. However, keep in mind that increased speed means longer times to come to a stop therefore some of them will still be able to skid from left to right regardless of any...

@Creepis I mean some of the reason they were made slow is because they are larger vehicles so their top speeds were purposely made pretty low, however their acceleration times probably could use some rework to not be as terrible as it is now. Which is part of what I fixed with the Transit.

I'm getting a bit too much into the weeds with trying to correct all the shading, but I have done some fixes on the Cooper65, Transit (old one), and the Ford F100. I am also taking a look at their handling, no massive changes but some simply take longer than they should to reach top speed, so I...

I will make a caveat and say that some graphical issues are more possible to fix than others, so in my first pass through them all I cannot guarantee that they will be 100% done, but I will at least try to improve where I can. One big goal is to make the metal customization have a bit more...

I have a list now of all the most commonly owned vehicles some are a bit surprising to me to be honest. Model Suggestion better drift for certain cars

Completed. Along with the BMW M5 (both civilian and police versions). If there are any other vehicles that turn the wrong way when handbraking or they seem like they are sliding too much or too little, leave me a message.

In fairness this was more about the overall sense of how much upkeep and amount of things that need to be maintained feels. I appreciate the feedback but having them be contrary is less aesthetic than keeping the same color lit at a time. Otherwise it is even more visual clutter. I avoided any rapid flashing lights in the rear to avoid vehicle direction confusion, plus the rear blue ones are mainly an emergency...

As for the sped up sequence being removed it was not necessarily on purpose but the whole sequence is more visible and is a bit sped up in other ways than before so it wasn't changed for now. But as stated there may be more to come with all of it. So it is not in a final state.

New sounds are always a double edged sword. Some may like a change while others will want the old one, but we don't want a mix of both so that means we can only have one of them and the old ones still work for now.

So what does anyone think of the new emergency vehicle lights? I tried having them synced at one point but it just didn't look right with the new look. There may be some more to come with all that too.
