You talk about a ''realistic point of view'' and then you write this? The reason IRL roadcrew can't do that is because it is reckless endangerment (9.8) and kidnapping (9.4)
With all respect Lencz you are Senior Helper, you should know that no rules or laws are broken in this situation. The mayor staying at a civilian's (or his own?) house with ''friends'' around is neither breaking any rules or laws. This is where serious drama could start to be generated because...
Then you got a very good reason to kill the mayor. Also 200$ is literally like 5min of government jobbing.
I like the idea but there is potential for some mayor (get it? Tihi I am so funny!!) drama inducing scenarios. What would stop a big org from getting one of them elected mayor and then...
This right here. What is point of adding it when it just becomes someone people press, when have you last seen a Roadcrew use the /me command when patching a tire or fixing a car?
And I think the ''lack of things to do'' comes from a lack of creativity, there are many things to do! Setting up...
Is there any possibility that this can actually be implemented? Like is it even possible with the current engine?
Also: What would be your solution if there are no Firefighters around?
Norway can't even produce their own butter and Swedish is no longer the most spoken language in Sweden omegalul.
PS: reported for racism towards Danes
PSS: Can you get banned for mass false reporting?
PPSS: Im joking no ban plz
You interact with others. You ask around, knock on doors. Maybe people asking why you are ''snooping around the neighborhood''.
Sending a message to a NPC is not investigative roleplay. It requires 0 digging since you can literally just write in every owned building that looks suspicious.
And...
How is it investigative Roleplay to just write some NPC and get a address? It would be more true if they kept the current system of driving around and finding out.
I really like the license plate idea though!
I would like to hear what some of the old-timer staff has to say, why was the rules like this in the first place? Many servers has a ''gun license'' mechanic why not this one?
Sometimes it is good to hear why a rule was excluded or added in the first place even if it was ages ago.
Does this mean that you can use the drug dealer as cover? Since he has a collision box wouldn't it also technically make him bullet proof?
Granted I can't remember who is top 3 (never looks at it) is it not unfair considering the cheating ''scandals'' the top orgs have had lately?
Whack rule, let the youngins' have some fun. We should try to give them a positive experience so they don't turn into toxic people when they get older.
The older generation should teach the younger so they are ready to carry on the torch and maintain a healthy community, break the cycle and...
Granted I can't be 100% sure but I believe this is the one https://www.959theranch.com/ and it is still operational.
Still praying everyday for its swift return!
Of course it is more than annoying for mods to be constantly under suspicion but until there is some transparency in how mod complaints are being handled it will always stay like this. It is just the way it is when people get power.
What is easy to get? Considering it is not unrealistic that 85-90% of the player base never reaches the second Roadcrew rank. There is a way bigger chance that the new player playing Roadcrew is going to get banned before even reaching halfway to the second Roadcrew rank considering the record...
The ''people'' are the reason why there is so much less RP I think. We have become the old men, there is a reason that the old Heavy RP game modes have died (didn't help it was text only so it took fucking ages to do anything + the multitude of other problems).
The new generation of players are...
Police does not even respond to half the incidents let alone traffic violations. Nobody cares about traffic laws because police themselves don't and I guarantee that government employees only follow them because it is actual rule.
I mean... Normal players can find the mods IPs and address as well. Not unheard of that mods gets doxxed by some crazy butthurt person.
Just takes the dedication.
I agree with Simon. Adding this would just cause people to constantly destroy the cameras.
And I doubt police would even bother going to the place to see what happened considering break-ins at Jennifer's gets ignored half the time.
What would stop police from doing what they do in real life and just declaring it a unlawful assembly because of [insert made up reason here] and arrest everyone when the protestors says things the police don't like? This is more or less how riots start in many parts of the world.
Aloo is right though, there is no way one can beat the defenders, grab the loot and leave before cops so up. Especially in places like Projex, Slums and Regals.
But they barely respond to any of it? Hell sometimes police leave cuffed suspects to run off to a shootout. Shootouts get priority...
What is the point of more medic slots when 9/10 times the medics are new players that barely know what is happening. EMS is in desperate need of a update, it is by far the worst job in the game.
I actually didn't know this so my apologies. I am not a ''cop/criminal'' so I don't have much to say in the matter other than I hope that Police will prioritize ''normal'' calls a little more. Best of luck with your suggestion!
