I believe a band aid fix for this is to equip a gun and then unquip, which works sometimes, but recently hasn't worked too much

After speaking to both officers neither of them were recording at the time sadly

Since I was out of range I couldn't fully see it however, the other officers on-scene saw what occured and told me about it so they may have seen it more clearer than I did.
