My guy I clearly said "50% of what you would have made at the NPC" The purpose of this is that you can save time. Instead of going to the NPC's you could do it at your vault. However, you would lose out money on it.

A trashcan in your vault where you can put shit you don't want/need anymore. Or a quicksell where you can sell items for maybe 50% or something of what you would have made if you did it at the NPC. Just make sure there's a confirm button so you don't get rid of your good loot by accident.
