History
The 24k Triads, also known as the 24K Gang, is a powerful criminal organization that originated in Hong Kong in the early 20th century. The group began as a secret society dedicated to fighting against the foreign powers that had taken control of Hong Kong.
During the 1920s and 1930s, the 24K Triads became involved in organized crime, using their influence and connections to engage in activities such as smuggling, gambling, and extortion. They also began to expand their operations outside of China, establishing a presence in other parts of Asia and in the United States, namely Paralake.
Within the following years of arrival the 24k Triads continued to grow in power and influence, becoming one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the world. They expanded their activities to include drug trafficking and money laundering, and developed a reputation for brutality and ruthlessness. The organization has also been linked to numerous murders and other violent crimes.
Despite the efforts of law enforcement agencies around the world, the 24k Triads continue to operate today, with a global network of members and associates. They are known for their strict hierarchy, with a complex structure that includes regional leaders, street bosses, and foot soldiers. Their activities remain a major challenge for law enforcement agencies, who continue to work in an attempt to disrupt and dismantle their operations, whilst being largely unsuccessful.
