It is a offence to be under the influence of a Illegal restricted substance in a public or private setting as defined under section 1 of the Paralake penal code
Liable to 1 year,$2,000 fine.

Why should this change/addition be made: people right now can smoke drugs and then go into public high as a kite and nothing can be done really if they don't have any drugs on them at the time except maybe 10.1 charge or something

What is the aim of this change/addition: makes being high in public illegal

Cannabis is illegal in England but you're not going to go around arresting people who are stoned.

There's no need to waste police time with this. Unless the intoxicated individual is causing a nuisance (which is already covered under other laws,) there's really no issue.

irl u cant get a fine or jail time for being under the influence unless u are in charge off vehicle
