Why should this player be punished?: They raided Morons, where I was crafting. My friend went to the front door to collect his package is how they gained entry. I wasn't aware my friend had died and went to check what was going on and to close the door when the player ran through the door and sprayed me down. I was unarmed and posed no threat. The player also made no attempt to give commands and gave me no chance to even react by putting my hands up.

I had just killed his friend, making significant noise and it being very obvious that I had killed him and that a raid was ongoing. Due to Morons being a very open area I wanted to get into cover as soon as possible, so I began full sprinting inside but then I see someone running toward me. As I practically ran into him, I got startled, my presumption was that this user was a defender (likely with a shotgun) attempting to bridge the gap between us to ensure maximum effectiveness of his close-range weapon. Evidently my assumption was wrong, but due to this and how startled I was I just sprayed him down without thinking twice. I've raided an ungodly amount of bases during my time on perp and the likelihood of someone actually basing while unarmed is so low I didn't give it enough thought which was my bad. I have since offered to reimburse the user of any losses, but in his words "I didn't lose anything luckily cause I stored my stuff".

To summarise I was working off an incorrect assumption based on my plethora of experience, and allowed it to impair my judgement resulting in this.

Just to clarify on that last point, I didn't store anything during the raid. I had put my crafting supplies away as I was getting off for the night. As shown in the evidence I actually couldn't hear anything and then I heard a voice that sounded awfully similar to my org member Kobe Won.

Considering Dave had just killed one of your friends armed and you hearing the shots in the evidence you provided, there was no reason for you to run directly to where the shots were unless you were armed.

Your friend had an AK-101 on him and Dave used a G3A3 to kill him.

No punishments will be issued to both sides.
