I was held at gunpoint by org members while Roleplaying as an officer. Complying meant getting shot once I step out of the vehicle, since they did it multiple times , I was right at the PD garage, door still open from pulling out seconds earlier, so I drove back in to get inside with other officers instead of standing alone and unarmed against armed suspects. That was the safer call, not a refusal to engage with the RP.


I know this falls under 3.4. My reasoning was survival and getting to backup, not ignoring the threat.

Rule 3.4 doesn't prohibit risk outright, only risk taken without a good reasons, surviving armed suspects by reaching immediate backup at my own department, instead of complying alone and unarmed, was that reason. It also meets the standard in 3.9 for escape attempts: a realistic chance of success, which retreating into a station full of officers clearly gave me over standing exposed in the open.

Hey so. standard police car windows aren't bulletproof nor have bulletproof glass and my friend David was in front of the car when you started driving it and he could just shoot you which risks your life more than just getting out and hoping that you don't get shot. who knows if we were trying to roleplay a hostage situation, cause you did take along time to drive into the pd. we would've just shot you but we cant considering the game doesn't allow you to unless you get out of the car or disable it.

To clarify the sequence: I'd just pulled out of the garage, door still open. You and David rushed up from the front-left of my vehicle and demanded I get out at gunpoint. I chose not to comply and drove back toward the garage instead, at which point you opened fire once I'd put some distance between us.

Worth noting you and David were positioned right outside the PD garage when this happened, which reads as camping the department with the intent to raid it, not a random encounter. That context matters for how I read the threat level in the moment.

My reasoning wasn't that I'd already been shot at and was reacting to that. It's that being pulled out of a vehicle alone and unarmed by armed org members, right at gunpoint outside my own department, is a credible threat to my life regardless of the stated hostage intent, especially with the garage (and backup) seconds away and still open. Getting back to other officers gave me a realistic chance of surviving the encounter that standing exposed and complying didn't.

As you came out of the police department garage, you reversed up and were immediately met with a gun to your face, of which you then should've complied as you had come to a stop to change direction.

Then, when you fled back to the garage, you came to another complete stop as to wait for the garage door to open again.
You had multiple chances to comply with gun-point, and in a realistic aspect, you could've been shot dead through your car window many times.

I will be issuing @6AMooRY999 a warning for their actions.
