Why should this player be punished?: Both players took the mayor hostage without sufficient reason which is a breach of 3.4 and 2.5 since the taxes at the time was 1% and there were no policies that could affect their drug empire if that was the case.

So, we already talked about this in-game, but if you feel it's necessary to file an Action Request now, I can easily explain the situation, and you're also welcome to check out my demo.

  1. Our intention was never to break any rules. We were on good terms with the Mayor, and since it was getting quite boring, we just wanted to create a cool RP scenario—without any intention of killing police officers or the Mayor. Our goal was simply to act out a fun hostage situation, and we thought involving the Mayor would make it even more impactful.
  2. The Mayor was aware of what we were doing and understood that she wouldn’t actually be harmed, so this wasn’t a real hostage situation. We mainly wanted to put on a good show for the officers and make it enjoyable for everyone involved.
  3. Instead of participating in the RP, the officers decided to start typing in LOOC, which is a breach of rule 2.6. Everyone just went silent in-game, and no one kept roleplaying. They just kept saying things like “I’m going to report you” or “You’re breaking the rules,” as can be seen in the clip from the player attacker1983. Because of that, we chose to stop, since the situation was already ruined by the officers’ behavior.

Conclusion:
We’re not really interested in reporting the officers for breaking the rules—we just find it disappointing that such a great RP situation was completely ruined simply because the officers didn’t feel like cooperating or playing along.

You're welcome to watch my demo. You can clearly see the chat, how people stopped talking and only typed in LOOC, and how we gave up once the officers had completely destroyed the scene.

I was the officer talking via LOOC, the Cpl. arrived back on scene and proceeded to state "alright, ive got your money, alright so come to the front door and take it" which you guys didn't respond to, we were waiting on you responding to the CPL. which never happened, we never broke 2.6 as we were trying to continue the RP however you decided not to.

I stated in LOOC i was reporting you so the report didn't come out of left field, i could tell you wanted to do a legit RP situation instead of a shootout which i commend as not enough people do that but with the mayor being your friend or not it is still 3.4 and if you had to kill the mayor 2.5.

I even stated multiple times via LOOC "the rule has already been broken we should just continue the RP" and that the AR/F6 would come after the fact either way but you still decided to "end the RP"

I'll respond to every point with detail, to point out somethings that I find wrong:

1: If your intention wasn't to break the rules, you should have made sure of that by asking in the help chat because a lot of players were on at the time and you could have been informed about it. And also, I understand you wanted to make a fun situation, considering that I did have fun while RPing, does not mean that you didn't break the rules, and if the mayor willingly allowed herself to be held hostage, that'd be 3.4 on her considering that she placed herself in a dangerous situation as a hostage.
2: You could have chosen anyone of your friends to rp this situation, but you had to bring the mayor into this? I know you have other people you could have chosen to rp with you, but you chose the mayor of all people, you caused the entire pd to respond to the farm because we heard that the mayor was being held hostage.
3: The User on top of my message gave a clear explanation.

In the clip you can see them with guns and the mayor zip tied, indicating that the mayor was being held hostage at the time. I wish I had the city info at the time but I forgot about it.

Ill get the info at the time and ill send it here.

@ati ツ did you have any reason to take the mayor hostage in-character?

What was the outcome of this?

@Izzybee891 can you provide your perspective of events as mayor?
So, we wanted to create a cool RP situation. We had been hanging out with the Mayor at the Bazaar the whole time, took her with us, drove around with her. Then my org member and I decided—or rather, we wanted to take her as a hostage to create a cool RP scenario. You can see everything in my demo. I’m happy to send it in. You can see how we drove together to the farm, how I told her in-game, “Hey, we want to create a cool situation, so just play along.” We just wanted to bring some life into the scene. We also told that to the Mayor. And of course, she agreed and wanted to join in. She wasn’t against it or anything, she didn’t say, “No, I don’t want to do this.” She played along, and we thought we were creating a fun situation—regardless of whether the taxes were at 1%. That wasn’t our goal. We weren’t trying to change the taxes or kill any cops.

At the end of the day, we didn’t kill anyone, we didn’t ruin anyone’s gameplay. The fun was taken away from us—the whole situation was ruined by the actions of the officers. I’m happy to request my demo and send it to you, so you can see everything for yourselves. How the officers immediately shut the situation down because suddenly everyone was writing in LOOC chat, which completely ruined the moment.

In my opinion, I don’t think it’s a big deal. If they think so—it doesn’t really matter to me. At the end of the day, we just wanted to create a fun RP moment for the officers and for the RP atmosphere in general. And that was completely ruined because people broke rules—just like the officers violated 2.6 in that moment. We don’t really care about that. We simply wanted to enhance the RP fun a bit, but unfortunately, it was ruined. And now people are trying to punish us for no real reason, even though we just wanted to bring RP to life and shake off a bit of boredom with this cool RP event. But I’m happy to send the demo to you.

The Mayor is welcome to share her opinion too—you can wait for her response if you’d like. If she had told us that she didn’t want to do it, or whatever else, then we wouldn’t have done it. At the end of the day, it was just an offer. If she had said, “No, I don’t want to do that,” then we wouldn’t have gone through with it. We just wanted to create a cool RP situation. And that was completely ruined.

I personally think the Mayor was actually interested in taking part. Otherwise, she could’ve just said, “No, I don’t want to do that.” And then we wouldn’t have done any of it in the first place.

As you can see, the whole situation was completely ruined because of all the LOOC messages that were being sent during the scene. We all lost interest in continuing the RP and didn’t want to make things worse or get ourselves into even more trouble, which is why we just gave up in the end, let ourselves get arrested, and decided to remove the bomb.

The whole fun was taken away from us because of players who feel the need to get others punished for everything.

I tried to get back to the situation multiple times, when I came back with the money you guys just kept chatting in looc and I was trying to get things wrapped up.

I mainly tried doing it in the voice chat, that's why I didn't text in the chat much. I kept trying but I keep stopping because no one was speaking lol, so I had to just sit around and wait for them to finish.
