Why should this player be punished?: Did not value their life at gunpoint and attempted to pick-up an AK-47 from the ground.

Context:
Two individuals, dressed in black and white tops with blue jeans, chased me down. One of them had an AK-47 on his back. I drew my gun, but did not aim it as my initial intent was to merely pass by without being bothered.

They maintained chase, but the armed one did not brandish the fully-automatic rifle on their back yet, and was merely openly-carrying it whilist chasing me. So, I allowed the unarmed one to approach me to declare their intent.

The unarmed one, Agatha, declared their intent to be Robbery, by saying "do me a favor, raise your hands." It prompted me to assess them for any weapons, which I couldn't see in their hand, nor on their back. So, I directed my attention to the armed individual, and reasonably assuming that he was aware of, and also intends to, attempt to rob me, I felt justified to use lethal force in self-defense.

After taking down the armed robber, Agatha said "wait, wait, I was robbing you, not him!" I ordered Agatha, "Hands up!" However, they instead ran over to the AK-47 their armed late friend dropped and tried to pick it up. Agatha was also shot dead.

Before I proceed with this action request, are you certain you want to pursue this?

I have added the user on steam and will attempt to reach out to them, they will have 72 hours to respond.

Yes. I don’t believe I broke any rules, unless it’s against the rules to shoot armed robbers.

I can see the reported party had recently been temporarily banned for another incident. I think this makes my report redundant. I’m okay with closing it now.

As much as I'd be comfortable with you withdrawing your Action Request, I still feel compelled to follow through and issue you and the new player a correction based on your stance in the thread you opened earlier.

Labesilol152 picked up a firearm whilst actively under gunpoint, which directly resulted in their death. Their ban has been extended for their actions.

I was merely passing through the area, when two people, dressed exactly the same down to the shoes, followed me, together.

They continued doing so, even after I brandished a gun. One of them tells me to “put my hands up, or we will shoot you.”
It is clear to me that you have inserted your own narrative to justify this shooting. This person's request, verbatim, was "can you do me a favor, can you put your hands up?"
This alone does not indicate robbery.

following you (not illegal)
Following someone with a gun on your back and with intent to rob them is.
The only illegal part of what was seen in your evidence was that they were transporting a firearm in an unsecure manner which violates penal code 7.6. In no part of this incident did they express any intent.

He was still a real imminent threat, by deciding to be an armed robber and target someone defensively brandishing a gun.
Neither person gave off any indicators as to their true intentions by the time you started blasting, so your conclusion wasn't just a jump, it was a leap here. And whilst the person who made the request revealed their true intentions after you had shot his friend, it was not established before the shooting and there was still an air of uncertainty as to what their true intent was. Without knowledge with a solid degree of certainty that they were trying to mug you, you cannot shoot either one.

When dealing with people you suspect are up to no good, using a hunch as your basis for shooting and killing someone is insufficient.
Your basis for killing his friend was that he asked you to put your hands up.

Someone asking you to put your hands up in the manner that they did is not a direct and immediate threat to your life or belongings. It is an unusual request, and not one many are willing to comply with, but it is not indicative of a robbery on its own.
When someone poses a request like this, if the request itself does not reveal their intentions with certainty then you cannot kill them for it, as was the case here.

Any John Doe can walk up to you in the street and ask you to do anything, does not mean you have to do it if your life is not immediately at risk.

A warning has been applied to your record for violating rule 2.5.
