After reviewing the report, the available evidence, and the circumstances surrounding the incident, staff conducted a full investigation into the user’s actions. During that investigation, it was determined that the user was aware of the police vehicle behind them and made the decision to flee. In doing so, they chose to risk their freedom without even knowing whether the officer intended to arrest them or simply issue a ticket. During the pursuit, the user also drove recklessly, which ultimately resulted in a crash. When questioned afterward about the incident, the user then provided false information regarding what had taken place.


Based on the evidence gathered, staff found the user guilty of the reported rule violations. This conclusion was reached through review of the incident, the user’s actions during the pursuit, and their dishonesty when questioned afterward. Taking into account the seriousness of the situation, the user’s prior experience within the community, and their disciplinary record, staff issued a 3-month ban. This outcome was reached only after a careful review to ensure the action taken was fair, justified, and supported by the evidence.
