Suggestion Title: Add more deployable speed cameras.
Suggestion Description: To add one more or even two more cameras with a mayor policy for two more, or just one more in general, while also locking each camera to a specific district on the map.

Why should this be added?:
Given there is only one speed camera, you can only do strict speed enforcement on one district of the map. If this were added, it would allow for the same degree of enforcement across multiple districts. There could just be one extra camera, or even two if there's a mayor policy, just like how there is one for the Mercedes SLS AMG

What negatives could this have?:
None in my opinion. It would allow more strict speed enforcement and general policing in more than one district.
Only thing I can think of is it might be considered OP as this camera does catch a lot of people. However for policing, I think its good from a RP standpoint.

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Having more than one camera would solve being able to do mass speed enforcement across multiple districts.

The current amount is already jarring

We're given ONE camera for the entire department, that is absolutely ludicrous, besides with the current functionality the camera monitors ONE lane while leaving the other unmonitored I personally believe a minimum of two speed cameras should be available.

It could either be a policy the Mayor enables or the quantity could increase/decrease depending on how many cops are on.

I think allowing for two, with a mayor policy option for 3 is a nice amount to have.

Like this there won't be an issue with people using one for a longer amount of time if they wish to, allowing for two units to be using them in different locations around the map, such as Business and Subs, or City and Subs.

This will stop people getting annoyed because the only speed camera in the city is currently being used, obviously we still have the normal speed camera, but the deployable one is very much more effective

Obviously, a downside to this is people getting annoyed because they are now actually properly able to get caught speeding and having to do a traffic stop when they can not be asked, thinking it is "jarring"

I believe adding another one, with an option for three with a mayor policy, such as Police State, which already exists would benefit Road Traffic Officer policing and roleplay over-all.

it would be better to combine it with the dual mercedes policy and rename it to something like enhanced RTU funding

And in my opinion too, adding the extra speed cameras would actually give RTU tasks within their division to keep them busy and keep more people in RTU gear. It would benefit not just the server, but the division too.

i honestly think you have enough cameras and this is coming from someone that liked the addition of it. its better to focus on one speed trap than try putting more cameras

Love the idea of having the mayor dictate how many speed cameras there are. Maybe you could treat it like the old job slider, 0-4 (or another arbitrary number) and the cost of speed cameras could go up exponentially

I too think that there should be atleast 2 available. Using mayor policies maybe 3 or 4. But keep in mind, they are RTU only, only send messages to the unit that placed them and only follow 1 lane. So adding more would not create more problems.

I say we let it play out with one for now and see how it goes. I say this as a Traffic Main not just a PD main.

The new speed camera is an awfully effective speed enforcement tool and allows us to pull over a significantly higher amount of vehicles without try harding.

I also believe there is a bit of balancing thay should be done on the highway which me and @Dank discussed. The speed limit on highway should probably be raised to between 90 and 110mph because it is an highway and most owned vehicles exceed this speed limit. It would give me less to do however i see the concerns raised by civilians, developers and cops.

While i understand typical speed limits on a highway is 100-130 KM/H in europe or 65-75MPH in the states we must keep in mind that this is a video game and the typical speed people drive on the highway is high, and this INCLUDES police officers which my camera on highway has caught typically going 85-100mph, and an average of 88mph for most officers. I.e the presedence put on speed on paralake's highway before this update was 100mph to give it a ish average.

I believe we should let it play out with one for a little bit and see what balancing could be done.

I will say that i would love a second one - and that it could be controlled by the mayor like the secondary mercedes, (perhaps Traffic Enfrocement policy which enables both a secondary mercedes and camera) but this is a very new and powerfull tool. (Written on mobile)
