About us
how did we end up in paralake?
Albert Heijn was founded by the Heijn Family in 1887 at East Zaan in the Netherlands. They started as a small grocery shop but eventually ended up as the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands! Just recently Mike Dutch bought with money he inherited a large share of this multimillion supermarket chain and started expaning towards paralake. making the shops you see in Paralake the first that has ever been seen on another continent than europe.
What makes us different from other shops
Our supermarkets are a world of food which means that you can find almost all food types in our stores! To ensure that we offer the best quality in our products do we have a team of professional employees ready to prepare the food for you during the day, so you will never buy something that is beneath of the expected quality!
Our aim is to provide the citizens of paralake with the best prices for dutch specialities for exemple: fish, cheese, milk, cigarettes, beer and the list goes on. We also from time to time offer rental BMW's so you can pick up your first date in style!
What are the times we open and close?
Monday - Saturday: 0900-1800
Thursday we have koopavond so: 0900-2100
Sunday: 1200-1800

We handpick our employees to ensure quality and hospitality within our stores.
We use a structure that most supermarkets use to ensure that people who switch from one supermarket to ours will not get as confused as they would at supermarkets who wouldn't use this common structure.
