I had all reason to drive you over to preserve my life, I used common sense knowing a single bullet to my car wouldn't kill me. Its simply how PERP works, and used common sense to know that if I would leave my vehicle I would be shot on sight.

gunpoint = you follow orders

if you dont follow gunpoint is rulebreak, simple (unless the person shot at you which i didnt)
preserving your life would be following my orders and getting out of the car as i told you.

If you can make up these excuses and its allowed then 3.4 wouldnt be enforced anymore.

PERP works that you respawn after 5 minutes yet there is a rule for 3.6

its common sense to FOLLOW gunpoint and not other way around

That is the thing, I was using common sense here. Eitherway a massive shootout was ongoing and I had to perform my actions in a quick way. Which is one of the reasons why the actions taken to preserve my life, were taken due to panic.

He preserved his life and was already reversing. You could've stood in a better position to make it worse for him to escape instead of staying infront of his car like a deer in headlights.
