Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Apology
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @@racxes
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Permanent
Your Steam Name: SmileyRL
Your Roleplay Name: It’s hard to say for certain; it happened nearly a decade ago. My apologies.
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:156172266
Why were you punished?: Vip scamming. (2017)
Why should this appeal be considered?: I would like to submit a new appeal regarding my current ban.
I understand that my previous appeal was denied because I failed to address the fact that I logged in on an alternative account about a month ago. I want to clarify that when I first tried to join, I didn't realize I was banned; in fact, I didn't even remember ever playing on this server before. Since the original ban was issued about 8–9 years ago, I genuinely thought my game was just glitching or bugging out.
Due to that confusion, I attempted to join using my alt account, which was also banned shortly after. It was only then that my brother and nephew—who had invited me to play—checked the ban list and found my old entry from 2017. I now recognize that joining on an alt constitutes ban evasion, regardless of my intent at the time. I sincerely apologize for not being clear about this in my first appeal and for wasting your time.
Regarding the original ban for VIP scamming: I want to apologize and take full responsibility for what I did. I made some very poor decisions back then and deeply regret them. I understand the negative impact my actions had on the community. Over the past several years, I have matured significantly and no longer engage in that kind of behavior.
The reason I want to return is simply to play with my brother and nephew. I was looking forward to spending time with them, though I realize this doesn't excuse my past or recent mistakes.
If given another chance, I promise to respect all rules and avoid any behavior that could harm the community. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal.
Have a great day.
