Why were you punished?: 2.5, 3.4 - Player initiated a gunpoint scenario on other players over a vehicle they did not own, but said they did (a chop shop mission), then dismissed it as a joke. This shows clear failure to value their own life, poor roleplay intent and unnecessary escalation, negatively impacting others' RP in the process. 3.5, 5.3 - User used information from their previous life to counter an ongoing raid on their property. User returned to an ongoing raid on their property after being killed. // Accepted AR - Wescott
Why should this appeal be considered?: Hello Perpheads staff team! I have decided to make this appeal to show how apologetic I am for what I did. Captain told me he would look at appeals after two days and then the AR was answered after a month and a half so I just decided to make it now and will address each part of my ban here. Starting with Captains original one week ban. My record will show that I am a repeat defender of this rule break but it does not tell the full story in this ban. The chop shop car that was being stolen was exactly the same color as one of the people in the car, Dick Harris of CrackBros who is a close friend and ally of my org J&J. I assumed he was stealing another CrackBros car as the color matched and jokingly decided to GP him and say it was my car when we both knew it wasn't. I was not intentionally choosing to grief his game as even in the moment I told them less then 10 seconds later to drive off. This was completely on me and a joke made in poor taste. I wish i never made the joke regarding the GP. I now realize that even if I thought it was a joke it may have ruined their chance at getting away from the scene before cops arrived and I heavily apologize now. Now to the Wescott AR. My record will show that I have never had a ban relating to NLR and even in the month and a half since the AR was made I still have never had a issue with it. I misunderstood the rules and took accountability for that. After the AR was made I brushed up on NLR rules and realized I was in the wrong and took the blame on the chin and apologized. And I still apologize to this day. I messed up and quickly corrected my lack of knowledge regarding the rules with NLR. To wrap things up I am very apologetic for what I did and have been on a better trend of the last few months regarding my bans and don't want this to set me back in my quest for complete rule following.
