Why were you punished?: 2.5, 3.4, 3.5. The player attempted to kill the mayor over seemingly no reason and for reasons from a past life. While no crimes were committed yet other than illegal transportation they shot an officer unconsious.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Firstly, I’d like to start off with an apology to the moderator. I got carried away with the roleplay I was having with the mayor and some other members of the community. I did break the rule of NLR as I’m still new to DarkRP and thought it only applied when you died. As for killing the police officer, I went back and forth with the mayor over the phone and threatened his life so when the cops came running with guns I assumed I was allowed to kill them after they said they are coming for me. I’m still learning all the rules and do ask the admins questions on what I can and can’t do on the F6 reports often. At the time I didn’t see a problem as everyone involved seemed to be having a good time and no one complained. Since playing on the server I’ve gained a grasp of most of the rules but find it hard to remember all the tiny details such as leaving government roles and continuing is NLR. And that you can’t join a job to gain intel on the mayor for a bigger plot. I hope this can be taken under consideration as I don’t go out of my way to ruin other people’s days and I was just having some RP fun with others and just got carried away.
Additional Information: Another user was also banned because he tried to kill the mayor. We weren’t the only ones. A lot happened over the mic with the mayor and it’s hard to explain everything that happened over the 40 minutes of RP.
