Why were you punished?: 2.5 - User shot and killed someone after they only punched them once.
Why should this appeal be considered?: The situation escalated quickly due to provocation. A rival organization member approached me at the subs storage and began insulting me with hostile and vulgar language. I made a joke to try and lighten the mood, but he continued by making offensive remarks about my mother. I then told him to punch me, thinking it would remain a non-lethal RP interaction. When he did, I overreacted and shot him. Looking back, I realize my response wasn’t justified by the rules, even if I felt provoked. I’ve learned from this and will handle similar situations with proper escalation and more self-control going forward. I respect the rules and want to continue playing fairly on the server. I’m not trying to get out of the punishment but hope this helps provide context and shows that I understand my mistake.
Additional Information: This is my second time being banned, and I haven’t appealed before. I genuinely enjoy playing on PerpHeads and want to keep contributing to the community. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
