Why should this appeal be considered?: To the Server Staff Team,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m writing to sincerely apologise for the recent incident that led to my ban for mass RDM. I want to make it clear that I fully understand the seriousness of that rule violation and how disruptive and unacceptable it is. However, I also feel it’s important to explain what happened and why this situation does not reflect my intentions or behaviour on the server.
The actions that resulted in the mass RDM ban were not committed by me. My little brother got onto my PC without my knowledge and joined the server, unaware of the rules or the seriousness of breaking them. He didn’t understand the consequences his actions would have, nor how severely mass RDM is handled. I don’t want this to sound like an excuse—ultimately, it is still my responsibility to secure my account and ensure this doesn’t happen. But I want you to know that the behaviour that occurred does not match who I am as a player or member of this community.
I also want to point out that my previous bans, as you can see in my record, have never been anywhere near the level of severity associated with mass RDM. I have never come close to committing something of this scale or intention. This sudden jump from minor or unrelated issues to a mass RDM ban doesn’t reflect my actual conduct on the server, which I hope gives some context to the situation.
I love this server more than I can express. It has been a huge part of my daily routine, my downtime, and honestly a big part of my life for a long time. The community, the interactions, everything about it means a lot to me. Losing access to it so suddenly has hit hard, especially knowing the incident didn’t represent my own behaviour.
I take full responsibility for what happened on my account, but I’m asking from the bottom of my heart if you would consider reducing the penalty. I fully respect your rules and your decisions, but I would like to request that the ban be reduced to a 2-year ban instead of a permanent or long-term ban. I promise that something like this will never happen again, and I will take far stronger measures to ensure that nobody else can access my PC or the server in my name.
I am truly, deeply sorry for the trouble this caused, and I hope you can see the sincerity in this message. Thank you for your time, your understanding, and for all the work you do to keep the server running as an amazing place for the community.
