Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Apology
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Nazeer
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Permanent
Your Steam Name: Griffon
Your Roleplay Name: April Juno
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:105512895
Why were you punished?: 1.6 - Failing to provide a demo
Why should this appeal be considered?: I don't really know if this falls under an apology or dispute? I put it in the apology section for now
I was banned back in January for "1.6 - Failing to provide a demo" the demo requested was "perpheads_demo_2025-1-29 19-06-41"
I genuinely did not have this demo or multiple others in my Demo folder at the time, I believed it may of been something to do with GMOD on linux as I use linux mint however a friend of mine made a forum post recently about a bug he is experiencing where on crashes, or sudden game closes/timeouts, his demos do not save properly.
The reason this is relevant is because I experienced this bug for these specific demos, my internet on the day of the 29th of Janurary was dropping a lot due to an internet issue where my ISP passes me through a bunch of bad nodes when playing a lot of games, to the point in some other games I am basically requires to use a VPN to bypass that and pass through different nodes to get a stable connection. You can check on the say that's requested that I constantly timed out after a while of being on the server, which in result resulted in the above bug where my demos did not save. I would really really appreciate an unban as my friends still play, I have gained a lot of experience with the rules from talking to them and watching clips they have sent me/gameplay and I would really like the opportunity to play V6. In future I will be making sure to always click "Force restart demo" as this appears from my friend @Mushroom experience to be the only way to circumvent this issue reliably and probably use a VPN service to stop the drops if that's allowed of course.
I don't know if the logs extend back that far but if it's at all possible they do it will come up as me timing out from the server at multiple points throughout the day, even before on various other days I would be constantly timing out from the server.

Type of Bug: Content
Description of the Bug: Demo not saving/appearing after leaving
How to reproduce the Bug: This could be a misunderstanding, however I am not sure because I have never noticed this behavior before
Heres what happened to me, I seen a rule break but couldn't capture it with Medal and it pissed me off enough that I decided to jump over to my demos to get a clip of it and investigate, I had only been on the server around 30 minutes.
Rough time this happened 23/05/2025 3AM-3:30AM British Standard Time
Once I went into my demo folder, there was no demos...
