Why were you punished?: "Being overly disrespectful in ooc"

Why should this appeal be considered?: I want to offer my deepest and most sincere apology for my disrespectful comment the other day. Calling you a "fatass" was not only out of line, it was completely uncalled for and goes against the kind of person I strive to be. I let my frustration get the better of me, and I said something hurtful that I truly regret. No one deserves to be spoken to like that—especially someone who volunteers their time to help keep the game and the community running smoothly. I’m ashamed of what I said, and I take full responsibility for my actions.

In addition to that, I also want to apologize for anything else I may have said that came across as rude, toxic, or offensive. Looking back, I realize I might have let my emotions spill out in other ways too, and if I said or did anything else that added to the negativity, I am truly sorry for that as well. I’m asking, genuinely and humbly, if you’d consider lifting the ban tonight. It’s the weekend, and I was really looking forward to playing with my friends. I completely understand if you feel I need to wait longer, but I promise I’ve learned from this, and it won’t happen again. Please give me a chance to show I can be better. I’ll keep things respectful moving forward and truly appreciate the work you do for the community.

Additional Information: I understand that moderation exists to keep the community healthy, fair, and welcoming for everyone — and I fully support that. My behavior clearly fell short of that standard, and I don’t expect that to be ignored. But I hope you can see this as a moment where someone made a mistake, recognized it quickly, and is genuinely trying to take accountability. I’m not here to argue the rules or downplay what I said — I’m here to own it. And in doing so, I’m hoping that can count for something.

Everyone slips up sometimes, especially in the heat of a competitive game, but what matters is how they respond afterward. I’ve taken this seriously, and I’m ready to come back with a better mindset and more respect for the people who make this game possible. Giving me a second chance, even a conditional one, would mean a lot. I’m committed to proving that your trust wouldn’t be misplaced.
