Why were you punished?: 2.5 - User killed another player because he thought he was going to raid his base. Nothing to show a raid was going to be conducted had been done yet.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I just wanted to make another statement about the situation since it’s been 3 days now after my first explanation, and an admin told me to wait before saying anything else.
Basically, I was in Office 5 when my friend told me he heard a grenade or something loud nearby. Straight away, I thought there was some kind of raid going on or people trying to break in. Because of that, I tried going around from the back side since I honestly thought people were lockpicking or doing something suspicious.
While I was moving through the apartment lobby, this armed guy suddenly came right in front of me and fully jumpscared me. Everything happened really fast in the moment. I saw the gun on his back and, because I panicked, I thought he already had it in his hands ready to shoot.
So without properly thinking, I reacted and started shooting. The second I realized he didn’t actually have the gun out, I was shocked straight away and instantly knew I messed up. I apologized immediately because it genuinely wasn’t my intention to just shoot someone for no reason.
I understand why the situation looks bad, and looking back at it now, I know I should’ve slowed down and checked properly before reacting. It was honestly just panic and confusion in the moment. I’m genuinely sorry to the player involved and also to the staff team for causing this whole situation.
Additional Information: I think that 3 days are enough and hope to get unbanned, I'm sorry once again
