Why were you punished?: 1.6, 3.2 - User communicated with another player using discord. Once they were confronted, they refused to comply with staff for several minutes.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Hi PerpHeads staff,
I want to start by saying I fully accept my own ban and take responsibility for what happened. I’m writing to ask if you might reconsider or reduce my friend’s ban, as he was caught up in the situation through no intentional wrongdoing.
We usually play together to have fun and enjoy the RP, sometimes joking out-of-character on Discord. I honestly didn’t realize how serious metagaming rules were on the server, and neither did my friend. During the raid, I clipped an incident because I saw someone breaking a 3.4 rule — pulling a gun while under gunpoint — and I thought reporting it was the right thing to do. I didn’t expect that this would lead to both of us getting banned.
When admins confronted us, my friend was confused about how serious the situation was, and we weren’t completely honest at first. This was a mistake on our part — it wasn’t out of disrespect, but more from being overwhelmed and unsure how to respond. I regret that it made things worse.
My friend wasn’t responsible for clipping or reporting anything and was simply following along while playing with me. I feel bad that my actions dragged him into this.
I understand the rules better now and accept my ban. I respectfully ask you to reconsider his ban or reduce the length, as he didn’t intentionally break any rules and didn’t act with bad intent.
