Why were you punished?: 1.6, 3.2 – Communicating with another player using Discord (metagaming). When confronted, I didn’t comply with staff immediately.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Hi PerpHeads staff,
It’s now been over half of my ban, and I wanted to sincerely apologize for my actions. Looking back, I realize I handled the situation very poorly. Using Discord to communicate during RP was against the rules, and I should have been upfront and cooperative when confronted by staff instead of stalling. That was a mistake I fully take accountability for.
At the time, I underestimated how serious the rules around metagaming were. I understand now why they exist — to keep the server fair and immersive for everyone. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect during this ban, and I can confidently say I won’t repeat this mistake again. If given another chance, I’ll make sure to stick strictly to in-game communication and be fully transparent and cooperative with staff.
I also want to mention my friend, who got banned alongside me. He wasn’t responsible for clipping or reporting anything — he was just playing along with me. While he did break the same rule by being on Discord, it was because I pulled him into it. I feel bad that my choices impacted his experience too.
I accept my punishment, and I’ve learned from it. I’m just asking if you might consider lifting or reducing my ban (and possibly his as well), as I truly want to come back, follow the rules properly, and contribute positively to the server.
