Why were you punished?: Failing a fear RP, RP scenario.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Hi, I have joined your server two days ago after purchasing Garry's Mod the other day (I had to repurchase the game for some reason) I have not played Garry's Mod since I was younger possibly 10 years ago or so, so I would be considered a very new player. I joined the server barely knowing basic Garry's Mod controls having to learn from complete scratch again, but found the environment to be very clean, with minimal situations for other players breaking rules et cetera. I have quite a bit of free time as of late so I was looking for a community to join after seeing some RP videos on YouTube and so fourth. I have been really enjoying my time playing on this server as I have almost 28 hours played in two days, this being one of my reasons as the Administrators might not have considered this before my ban. I have actively been trying to learn which I believe is the most important reason for my ban being considered as I have only had two minor warns in my entire 28 hours played for minor incidents which I was unaware of and can only rectify with being told or experience playing the server. The Admin who banned me commented before the ban saying "You have been punished every day you have played here." like I was some kind of troll trying to grief players and intentionally cause headache on the server. Here are my two warnings: 'Aug 6, 2024 9:16 PM '3.20, 5.1 - Attempted to assist in a mugging in a non-muggable area, disconnected when being arrested.' // 'Aug 5, 2024 2:38 AM - 3.4 - User shot a cop in front of 4 other cops in order to save someone from being arrested for a drug offense'. I know I have broken the rules but I would've been really appreciative if someone had teleported me to a sit and explained to me the rule. As I have had two warns in two days it may seem as though I am causing trouble but without the consideration of time played. I would really appreciate if someone would be able to reconsider this ban, it's not easy for a new player to know things like this explicitly with the time I have spent on this server and in Garry's Mod. Regarding Aug 5, 2024 2:38 AM warning, I was with 3 other members of our gang that were being arrested, and I waited intentionally for the other police in the area to clear, when I fired the shot on the Officer that was killed the other two police officers were only just starting to drive off from the scene, and if any other Officers were around, I did not see them. Regarding Aug 6, 2024 9:16 PM, this was an honest mistake and misunderstanding, I rejoined almost instantly after recognizing my mistake as and contacted an Admin, I was warned for this and it will not happen again. Please be a little more leaniant for new players guys, I know full well you have to filter through hundreds of people trying to manipulate situations etc, but if that was really my intent I wouldn't be writing you an essay. Overall the server is great, I'm having a lot of fun. Kind Regards, Tsar
Additional Information: Willingness to LEARN and some leniency / help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: Since my ban is so short, this post was predominantly expressing my feelings on the situation. I am not expecting a reduced ban.
