Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Collier
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Week

Your Steam Name: Anthony
Your Roleplay Name: Anthony King
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:44745236

Why were you punished?: 3.4 - While on firefighter, followed an officer into an active Office raid to continue to annoy and/or watch an officer who they were arguing with.

Why should this appeal be considered?: The last time I played firefighter was probably over a week ago where I grinded out the job to get to specialist firefighter for the perk and I havent been on the job since. To double that, I've kind of been asleep most of today (fucked up sleep pattern) So I am a little confused when my friends dm me asking what happened and why I'm banned, while I was asleep. If this is something that happened a long time ago please let me know because otherwise I have literally no idea as to why I'm banned. Thanks for reading and hope this was just a misunderstanding.

Also I can happily provide demos for the entire day but I'm pretty sure y'all will have logs showing I literally never went on firefighter for over a week, I hope.

If you don't think it's appropriate, feel free to make a staff complaint on @Collier. However, the situation is still within 3 weeks, and thus a punishment is still valid to be issued. You were not the only person punished by this situation by the looks of it.

If you are claiming that you didn't break 3.4, then i will leave this dispute pending

However, if you are accepting that you broke the rule here, then I can close this

Since you are claiming you didn't break 3.4, can you please answer the following questions:

1) Why were you guys loitering around the area of the shootout? It seemed like you were a firefighter and kept on interacting with the cop. Was there any specific reason why?

2) Why did you follow the cop inside during the active shootout?

I've edited this comment, I accept the ban and will make an apology later, if applicable, thanks.

It is clear that everyone in the clip put their lives at risk without any valid reason or justification, other than to provoke the officer involved. While I understand the incident occurred two weeks ago, if you choose to self-report yourself and others when creating an IA on someone, then you should not be surprised if that evidence is later used against you if you are breaking rules in it (this is valid within 21 days of the incident). There were far more sensible ways to handle this situation. Following the officer into an active shootout to provoke them was not one of them.

Your ban reason will be updated to also include Rule 4.2. No officers cleared you to enter the crime scene, which was clearly still active, as shots could be heard being fired.
