I’d like to appeal my friend ban and explain the situation.
Back in 2016, one of my older accounts was banned because it was mistakenly believed to be an alternate account of my brother, who also plays on this server. That ban has been in place for a long time.
Recently, I gave my friend access to one of my other accounts so he could try out the server with me. I honestly forgot that the account might still be tied to that old ban. As soon as he joined, it was automatically banned. To make things right, I even bought him a copy of Gmod on his own account so he could play fairly, but that account was banned as well.
I want to make it clear that there was no attempt to evade bans or cause trouble. This all stems from a very old misunderstanding and my mistake in not realizing the link between accounts. I’m asking if this could please be reconsidered so my friend and I can enjoy the server legitimately.
