I’m writing about the ban that was put on my account back in 2024. At first, I honestly thought I had been banned for something I did myself. But when I checked more carefuly, I saw it said I was banned for having an alt account connected to another person. That confused me a lot, because I don’t know who that person is and I have never had more than one account.
I want to make this clear: I live by myself, and I only have this one account. It’s the only account I’ve ever used, and I only play Steam games on it. I don’t share it with anyone, and I haven’t made or owned any other accounts. If the system or console somehow linked me to somebody else, then it must have been a mistake.
I’m not the type of person who cheats or tries to get around the rules. I care about playing fair and I wouldn’t risk losing my account by breaking them. I understand that bans are important for stopping people who really do use alts, but in my case I feel like I was unfairly caught up in that process.
I’m asking if you can please review this ban from 2024 and give me the chance to keep using my one and only account.
