Why were you punished?: 2.5, 5.6, 3.4 - User kidnapped someone at storage and forced them to sing a song at gunpoint. Then, shot and finished off the victim.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I had a previous altercation with the person that was not thoroughly sorted by police, so I led him to storage under gunpoint and made him sing a song, he didn't comply, so I shot him. I think that is perfectly acceptable as it is a roleplay issue that the police should have been notified about. Also, if I have been banned for 5 days for that simple matter, why didn't the guy that killed me get banned. Look, all I was trying to say is that I think it's unfair to get banned for a roleplay scenario. And even if what i did is wrong, I apologise. But 5 days is a bit hefty for a simple misconduct when I have had no relating rule breaks or bans.

Even if it is ridiculous, it's still roleplay, I kidnapped them because they were physically aggressive so I had to teach him that his actions have consequences.

5.6 Kidnapping​

Players may only be kidnapped where the benefits outweigh the risks and it is absolutely necessary, such as taking a hostage so as to substantially increase one’s chances of escaping police. Kidnapping players who are visible from outside a muggable zone so as to mug or raid them is not allowed. Rule 3.4 should be referred to when deciding whether taking a hostage is beneficial.

As quoted from you, you have to be taught that your actions have consequences.

2.5 is valid here since you shot someone because they didn't want to sing a silly song. This is an unreasonable request at gunpoint. Furthermore, you killed him after he acted in self-defence previously, considering you were the one who punched him first. He was also not a threat to your life at any point.

As for 3.4, you risked your freedom by shooting him without a valid reason, especially somewhere relatively close to the PD.

5.6 is valid here as you kidnapped the user without a valid reason. Kidnapping someone to force them to sing a song because they insulted you is not valid whatsoever. Kidnapping should only be done when necessary; this is not one of those times.

This also all stems from a simple insult where the user told you your breath stinks. This is an entirely unreasonable reaction on your part and should have been resolved more peacefully.
