Why were you punished?: 3.4, 3.20 - User failed to comply with gun-point for a prolonged period of time, then disconnected with an open report.

Why should this appeal be considered?: edit: i remembered last night: I was standing afk, when I returned from smoking i disconnected since I went to sleep but I saw I was already robbed, I turned around checked the room and saw no players anywhere so I dced and went to sleep as i thought everything was over while I was afk i was zip tied and the players were gone? I didn't check my F6 when I returned, which was opened on me while I was AFK, so I thought fine admin teleported zip tied me, I got mugged, players gone I will go to sleep.

In addition to the message above, a dispute must contain sufficient evidence such as a video of the situation or a demo with the relevant tick provided. So if you believe that you were banned for situation that you described, you will need to add evidence of that happening. This does not matter now since the situation is different from what you described, but please note this for in the future.

Oh yeah I do remember that situation. I went afk to smoke, and apparently during that time my friend scammed that player for 55k. I wasn't aware, when I returned from smoking my mate wasn't there anymore and I see him gunpointing at me, I ask him "what the hell are you doing you can't mug here" and he proceeds to tell me to exit the car in attempt to mug me, I found that breaking the rules to try mug me in a not-mugable zones so that's the reason I didn't comply with his gunpoint, I was even thinking "wtf" because I wasn't even aware what was going on or why he is gunpointing me. I hope I can get at least a reduced ban because I really didn't know, I thought he was breaking rules by attempting to mug me in that zone so I didn't comply

We are willing to give you the benefit of the doubt on the 3.20 part and remove it from the ban. What I would say is that you have racked up a lot of bans including Rule 3.20 in your relatively short time with us. In future, press F6 before disconnecting and just double-check a report has not been opened with you.

However, in the footage provided as part of the ban, this is a very egregious break of 3.4. There are valid reasons for people to gunpoint you and attempt to force you out of a vehicle by fear of violence in public places. Mugging is not one of them, sure, but Rule 2.6 requires you to continue the roleplay whilst obeying the Rules yourself, and to make a report for a staff member to look into it.

If you ever lost items or money as a result of a rulebreaking mugging such as being mugged in public, we would return them to you. Just assuming it is a public mugging and breaking Rule 5.1 does not mean you should in-turn not follow gunpoint and break Rule 3.4.

Although we are removing the reference to 3.20, your ban length will remain the same. Feel free to make a Ban Apology to @jams on the forums if you would like them to consider lowering it.
