Why should this appeal be considered?: i disconnected to change my steam name as requested and didnt reconnect right away cause my son woke up and i had to put him back to bed i understand the gun point thing but i dont think my punishment should be so harsh for a misunderstanding of the rules

I think it should be stated that you do not need to disconnect to change you steam name; however, you are stating that you did, in fact, do the actions you were banned for in your dispute. Disputes are only for instances where you think that you were punished for a rule you don't believe you broke, not concerns regarding the severity of the punishment.
