Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Lhealey05
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 5 Days

Your Steam Name: syxeri
Your Roleplay Name: Martin Roger
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:151731

Why were you punished?: "3.4 - User killed someone infront of a TFO getting them self killed"

Why should this appeal be considered?: Evidence 2 (chat with Lhealey05): https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/ksU6SLU79xYXcMgMK?invite=cr-MSxreXcsMzMyODU4MzMz

As you can see I've been banned for killing someone in front of a TFO. I had reason, the gentlemen I shot in the video killed my friend. A member of my organisation who I value, so I killed him. May I first point out that the man in the video shot my friend in front of the TFO first, and he has gone unpunished. Is this also not 3.4? The man had no reason to kill my friend from my knowledge.

Secondly, I wasn't under the impression you could not kill in front of police officers. I understand now how that breaks 3.4 but I was unaware of this until now. I feel a 5 day ban is ridiculous because of my "really bad record". This is because the last time I was banned was also for 3.4, and this ban was also extended because megasaw said " // Ban length due to horrible 3.4 history". I understand that I may have broken 3.4 a few times in the past and that's on me. But I dealt with those punishments by having to wait a week to play again when I didn't comply with gunpoint. People get 12 hours for the same ban. Fair enough due to, like he said, terrible history. Since then I have received only ONE other 3.4 warning and it was for running across the intersection. Didn't know this was 3.4 but after the warning I have not done it since. So why I am now having another extended ban for history that has already been punished for seems unfair and unjust. Now what I find absolutely ridiculous is that while I was having a discussion with Lhealey05 about this trying to explain what had happened and informing him that I'd already received extended ban lengths due to my history and trying to explain the situation, he just banned me without responding. If I'd already been punished for the bad history, does this mean that for every 3.4 break I will receive an even bigger punishment? This seems completely unfair, people break 3.4 all the time whether by mistake or on purpose. The fact that this honest mistake has resulted in a longer ban than deserved and left the other people involved who also broke the rules completely unpunished is disgusting. I want to have a personal chat with this "Lhealey05" and sort this out because he has acted completely out of order.

Additional Information: Lhealey05 acted really irresponsibly when dealing with me. He was extremely unprofessional and didn't even bother listening to my side of the story. The proof is all there, you can look through it and I personally believe that he should be spoken to in regards to how he dealt with the situation so he can improve for situations in the future. It's not fair to silence someone when dealing with a situation by banning them without hearing what they have to say.

Might I also just add that "lhealey05" said I received a 3.4 warning 3 days after my ban. This is incorrect, I received it 3 days BEFORE my ban which also added to the length of time I was banned. Completely disgusting unprofessional behaviour. Not a clue who made this person staff, needs to be seriously looked at.

The length, It's a fair ban I broke the rules. Granted I didn't realise it was a 3.4 break and its fair enough if he wants to ban me for it. The length is excessive and the other person needs to also be punished if I am being banned for doing the same as him.

You can't dispute a ban because of it's length. If you think that the ban length is excessive, you will need to make a staff complaint regarding this. In addition if you think the staff member acted wrongfully, this is also handled in a staff complaint
