Why should this appeal be considered?: Statement Regarding Alleged GP Breach and Player Behavior
I want to clarify the situation where I was accused of breaking GP also known as Gunpoint. I did not breach GP at any point. In fact, I initiated a surrender while in the water, and during this, they GP’d me. Despite my surrender, they accused me of breaching GP, which I believe is incorrect.
During the incident, my weapon fell into the water, and I had no way to use it. I was typing in LOOC to ask why I was being reported, especially since I had surrendered — not resisted. Unfortunately, there’s a known glitch where opening the chat sometimes brings up your phone, which might’ve made it look like I was doing something else IC, but I was only trying to clarify the situation OOC.
Additionally, in the clip used as “proof,” the other players involved were antagonizing me by calling me a “weirdo” and telling me to “go cry,” which I feel was unnecessary and broke the standard of respectful RP. I did not appreciate the way I was spoken to and feel this should also be addressed.
I’m happy to provide my side further if needed and would appreciate if this situation could be reviewed fairly, including the behavior of the reporting players for antagonizing me knowing he/she was reporting me.
