Why should this appeal be considered?: A few weeks ago, I received a 1-year ban for what was considered mess RDM. I completely understand that rules must be enforced, and I respect the work you do to keep the roleplay environment fair for everyone. However, I would like to kindly ask you to reconsider the length of this punishment.
The day I was banned was actually my very first day playing roleplay. At that time, I was still completely new to the rules, concepts, and expectations of the server. My intention was not to ruin anyone’s experience or intentionally break the rules. I was trying to play the role of a serial killer disguised as a firefighter, and although I now understand that this was against the rules because city workers are not allowed to commit crimes, my intention was roleplay, not random killing or trolling.
Because of my limited English at the time, I may not have explained myself clearly enough, which may have caused a misunderstanding about what I was trying to do. Looking back, I fully admit that I should have read the rules more carefully before playing, and I take responsibility for that mistake.
It has now been about a month since I started roleplay, and during this time I have learned the rules and roleplay concepts much better. I now clearly understand what I did wrong and can honestly say it was due to inexperience rather than malicious intent.
I sincerely do not believe that a 1-year ban reflects the nature of what happened, especially considering it was my first day and my mistake came from not fully understanding the rules. I respectfully ask if you could please consider reducing the ban or giving me another chance. I genuinely enjoy roleplay and would really appreciate the opportunity to return and prove that I have learned from this experience.
