Description of the Bug: ar's and smg's don't shoot full auto despite the fire mode being full auto

How to reproduce the Bug: honestly no idea it just popped up, i was at the firing range earlier and the same thing happened, guns were only shooting 1-3 bullets then stopping and shooting another 1-3 bullets in bursts, it was on the ump45 and ak47 i dont know if other guns have this same problem

hey, sometimes when gmod is being wierd, you will start shooting and then hear the firing stopping.

ive only encountered this when playing/leacing my game on for very long sessions.

the bullets are still being fired, however you just cant hear and/or sometimes see them.

either that or your mouse is just fucked :spiderman:

I have been having that exact bug with the sounds consistently the last few days, never had it before unless I am super laggy. What hyushi said is right though, sometimes the sound just bugs so it seems like your in semi but your in full auto, like at the beginning of your clip

You used an entire mag and just didn't bother to reload thats probably why as seen when the gun just stops shooting at the end of the clip also prior clipping you might of used more ammo. Its not a bug you just didn't reload

This is not a bug as mentioned by Mj. Before your death you can even notice a very big jolt upwards when you tried to fire again, you were on your last bullet which is a thing all gun animations feature apart from pistols if I recall correctly. Give it a try on the range.

If you make a bug report please also remove all client side mods. This is most likely a conflict with the sounds you have installed due to their custom length not matching up with what we have or bitrate issues (Source really wants it formatted right). Your shots still went through and registered as it's apparent from the marksmanship notification, the sounds just didn't play and frankly I never had this happen before and I play with no mods.

If this does however happen again please be sure to record it (and as previously mentioned) without any mods and actually remembering to reload.
