Suggestion Title: Cheque Collector
Suggestion Description: A professional ATM skimmer is exploring a new venture in making money using his knowledge of his victims. He employs you to be his collector for a scheme. You will be tasked with using the identity of the victims to cash in fake cheques under their names at various ATMs around the city.

3 cops minimum must be on. Job is locked if:
1) Bank robbery is happening
2) 3 cops minimum are not alive at the time of starting
3) Chop Shop is active

This ensures a proper balance of risk / reward

PLAYER starts the mission.

They are texted
“So, you’re interested in the work? I think I can give you a chance.. I will contact my guy to meet you.”

They meet with an NPC

“Sup, you must be the job candidate… pick a car to use. We need to stay under the radar, but we will be watching from a distance. here’s your paperwork, Don’t let me down…”

The player will be prompted to pick a car the player owns as the “job vehicle,” this vehicle must always be in range of the player. Otherwise, the player will receive warnings in text form giving the player a few seconds to return back in range of their selected car or fail the mission by disobeying instruction.

The player receives 5 fraudulent cheques that are contraband. Police may confiscate if found on a player and will charge the player with Fraud and Identity theft.

Next the job is to go to randomly selected ATMs. The mechanic will be to use the cheque on the ATM to begin cashing in the cheque. Police will be notified of this activity and once started and the player becomes wanted for Fraud / Identity theft as spotted by the employee and or camera, the job starts time limit of 6 minutes.

The player is supposed to complete all 5 ATM collections before the timer is up and without being caught.

This will simulate social engineering the teller allowing you to withdraw the cash from the fraudulent cheque. It will mechanically be a simple 30 second bar with a player animation showing the player typing on the ATM.

Upon completion, the player will have a sum of dirty money. receiving a text

“Excellent work… now I need you to bring me my money. I will clean it and let you know where to pick up your payment. We appreciate your services..”

The player will now try to stay out of cuffs and free for 5 minutes.

In which, if caught, the mission will fail.

“You got caught?! I can’t risk you snitchin me out man.. im out, I told you to stay low!”


If the player succeeds in staying out of trouble, the next text will let the player know where to pickup the payment. (like Chop Shop)

If the player takes too long to cash in the cheques in the time limit, the mission fails and the text follows

“You’re taking too long! You had one job, The feds already caught on.. those cheques are just garbage. Thanks for nothing..”



Finally the job payment depends on how people feel about this idea:

1) If it’s high, then naturally it would face the chop shop level cooldown of it being allowed once a day.

2) if it’s low, there’s room for it to be a regulated crime someone can do throughout a play session.

Personally, I’d prefer to have like a 2 hour or 4 hour cooldown and pay around $15,000. This to me feels reasonable because the cooldown allows others to have a go and balances the payment out so it justifies it not being as long of a cooldown as Chop shop. You’re also using your own car which risks tiering so the money helps cover that damage in case it happens.

Why should this be added?:
- NO SHOOTOUTS :D
- makes a way to roleplay breaking some laws that before were not touched or used often as they would rarely be relevant.
- crime that gives a chance for people to compete in driving.
- more dark web missions
- some what realistic and still fun
- opens a new form of income through crime that does not involve violence.

What negatives could this have?:
- too easy with 3 cops, not much stopping you from farming it like Chop Shop or forest growing as an easy money grab during low players.
