if you got money invest in the very first CSGO cases for 100 each. If you have a little less buy up the dreams and nightmare cases, or kilowatt cases as they’re going to be expensive some day in the future. Cases will always gain worth as players will always come back for the best skins to farm.

The best investments are the old items such as stickers, cases, capsules whatever. If you truly want a skin, go for trade up skins that are required for dragon lores or any other high value skin that is also rare.
Cases are honestly your best bet. You can buy loads and choose to sell off a percentage of them at any time without completely losing your entire investment. Sell a part to get your investment back, keep the rest to make more money.
Also, don't use steam marketplace to buy the items, but you probably already knew that.

I have bought some: Fracture cases, fever cases, recoil cases and finally 3 riptide cases cus they are expensive as fuck. Im tihkning of getting some wildfire cases cus i believe the fuel injection will rise a lot at some point.
