People today seem to have forgotten what music once meant. It was never just sound, it was a carrier of feeling, your feeling. Through it, we spoke of love and craving, of pain and loneliness. Like a way of sharing emotions too big for words
Now, too often, music fills the background rather than your soul. It plays not to be felt, but to end out silence, as if silence itself were something so bad we need to put a stop to it . In that noise, meaning goes. Any melody is enough , any lyric will do, and what once was born from genuine feeling slowly fades away, reshaped into something catchy and disposable, made not to endure in our hearts and minds, but to scroll past.
This has nothing to do with musical taste, but with the lack of any.
I guess i just dont like the fact that u guys dont pay attention to what ur listening. I am fine with people not agreeing with me on this
