Double barrelled Shotgun

Description of the idea: give the double barrelled shotgun significantly tighter and a more consistent spread pattern. Also, slightly decrease the spread on a sawed off double barrel, but only mildly.

As it stands, the double barrelled shotgun has 2 major flaws, which are:
- It is a shotgun, which limits it to close quarters
- It has a low capacity, making it bad for close quarters

As it stands, the suggestion could go 3 ways in terms of a final result should the community like the idea, which would be:
- the double barrelled shotgun on its own gets the buff
- both variants get the buff
- only the sawed off gets the buff

Why should this be added? (pros):
- Would make the guns more useful.

What negatives could this have? (cons):
- idk the full size kinda works really well as is.​

Correct me if I'm wrong, but reducing the barrel length makes the spread bigger in real life so this suggestion is unrealistic because the sawed of should have a much larger spread not a slightly decreased one".
We could add chokes for shotguns which would make spread tighter, I would rather see that.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is the full size double barrelled shotgun being outperformed in literally every aspect by benellis and spas 12’s not remotely worth looking into?
The primary idea here is to make the full size double barrelled shotgun better, could care less about the shittier sawed off.
