i totally agree i think ticket is more then enough i think he escalate the situation

players come here to chill and play and have fun not to spend time in jail for useless reason

he's abusing he's power by exploitation of a loophole in the law to benefit from confiscating weapons

You won't know that the player has a weapon on them when you detain and take them to prison for being on their phone.

Everyone’s blaming the cop for doing an arrest in accordance with the criminal code but not annoyed at the people who made it an arrestable offense to begin with? I agree it should be a ticket-able offense only but the arresting officer didn’t make the law.

In my experience, whenever you have someone on a cellphone while driving, it usually is just a ticket. Sometimes you do get the odd person who gets racked with 7.3/7.5 for having a firearm on them and not putting it into their trunk in the first place. It's understandable that some people may percieve this as being cringe, but theirs other systems in place that'd allow them to avoid the situation in the first place. You could choose not to drive with a phone out. This suddenly stops the police from ever making a move on you, in the same way that you could get pulled over for speeding and having no headlights on during nightime. The laws exist and yes some of them may be cringe when enforced, but its still a law.

As for the comment on "think of their enjoyment" bruh. come on. That's like saying we shouldn't allow impact grenades in hostage situations because it's unfair to PD who cannot do anything thanks to the whole, "pin is pulled, sorry <3"

If it's something that you change through your own actions, it's on the person driving with a cellphone to make that decision whether or not its worth the risk.

all what have you said have limt i cant raid more than 2 times per hour and i cant mug +3 players

while i can jail up to 10 players on 1h if it not more

Because they didn't think people would arrest for this. It doesn't say anywhere that driving with a phone is not allowed. This player is the only officer that does this.

You can't be driving with due care and attention to the road when your holding a cell phone in your hands. Its common sense that most of the world follows as its illegal literally everywhere. It isn't my fault other officers aren't up to date with the law
