The Paralake City Penal Code allows anyone to own most weapons, including firearms, under certain conditions.
Here's a simplified overview of what the law generally says. Disclosure: I'm not your PH lawyer, and this isn't legal advice.
Fireworks are an exception, but you can't legally light them outside of the forest.
For example, pointing a gun at someone inside your property is not allowed, because of law 9.3 "Threats of Physical Harm".
Usually, officers give a warning before confiscating, but it's up to them.

What is a weapon?
Offensive weapons include, "but are not necessarily limited", to the following:- Firearms
- Baseball bats
- Knives
- Machetes
- "Improvised/adapted items with the intent to harm or cause damage"
- Your vehicle can be a weapon depending on how you use it. (e.g. running someone over on purpose)
- Empty bottles or giant candy canes can be considered weapons in certain circumstances.
Fireworks are an exception, but you can't legally light them outside of the forest.
What can you do without breaking the law?
You can:- Have a weapon on you inside a private property, if it's not visible from a public area.
- public area = "any member of the public can gain access without restriction". (e.g. a street, the front of a bazaar shop, the forest, etc.)
- (Assuming you're not trespassing)
- Transport a weapon between "places of secure storage".
- For example, between your car's trunk and your home. Or between a shop and your car's trunk.
- The law requires that the transport is "direct and immediate".
- Use a weapon for defending yourself lawfully.
What the law says you cannot do
According to section 7 of the Penal Code, here's what you can't do with your weapons:- Have a weapon in a public area.
- Display a weapon in a public setting.
- public setting = "can be seen unobstructed from a public area" (e.g. from the street through a window)
- This can include having the weapon on your back.
- Discharge a firearm, unless it's for lawful self-defense.
- This makes gun ranges technically illegal.
- Store a weapon in a public area. (e.g. dropping a gun under the bazaar water bridge)
- Sell a weapon outside of a rentable shop.
- You can't have the gun on you while selling it. You need to use the cash register system to sell it legally.
For example, pointing a gun at someone inside your property is not allowed, because of law 9.3 "Threats of Physical Harm".
Punishments
The Police can confiscate your weapons when charging you for any of these.Usually, officers give a warning before confiscating, but it's up to them.
