I keep timing out

So, I have a problem that when I try to join the server it times me out, this also happens on other servers. Can anyone help me please?

Try restarting Garry's Mod. If that does not work, reboot your modem. If that does not work, restart your computer; worked for me :3

Maybe try verifying game cache

Restart your gmod, if it still doesn't work then restart your internet.

Lazy Method

Keep connecting until you finally joined, worked for me.

This problem usually occurs when your computer specs are below par. Generally, if you have under 2gb of ram and a slow processor this usually happens. Awesomium Process absorbs all your resources and then Gmod goes unresponsive then it's like nah bugger it.
