Idea for the shooting range.

Short explanation
After reading suggestions about white-listing the SWAT and Police Force, it makes sense as we need to find use for the shooting range to maybe have a target range test to become SWAT.
What this would incorporate?
- Hitting x amount of targets in 30 seconds
What would this stop/allow?
- It would make the SWAT force more honorable and respected within the community.
- It would make sure only the best of people join the SWAT force.


Your idea's/thoughts on this suggestion?

- Mass shooting in an apartment complex (Yes, it happens) people are seconds away from death, it will take you 30 seconds longer to get to your van, during this time 3 people have died, and the 2 who were shot in the first place can no longer be revived.
- SWAT is already highly trained, there's a 'selection' process for a reason.
- Do it in your own time when you're not SWAT.

I'm pretty sure that being a member of a SWAT-team involves a whole lot more different skills than just shooting. If you've ever seen how a SWAT-team operates you'll know that there is a lot of tactics involved and not a whole lot of shooting. If you want to make sure that the people who choose to play as SWAT are actually capable of doing so effectively, then a shooting test is probably not the best way. However, testing people on their ability to work together as a team and use proper tactics wouldn't be a good idea either, since not a whole lot of people possess that ability which would result in the SWAT-team being pretty much empty. I think it would be a good idea to try and make sure that the members of the SWAT-team are good at what they're doing, but that's what the lieutenant and the mayor are there for. They are already able to demote those who aren't doing their job.
