Police Suggestion Incentive for patrol members to remain in Patrol idea 1.

Brief description of idea:

Grant Patrol corporals DNA tools.

Whilst they cannot set warrants, the ability to upload DNA is still a vital function for the PD's operations.


What benefits would this idea have for the department:
- Incentive to remain in patrol
- Harmless really

What potential negatives could this have for the department:
- I dunno? Not being able to set a warrant on DNA you uploaded?

You make a very good point in your title. I believe that today the perks of the two divisions in the PLPD are very unfair.

Everyone starts on patrol and get the basic equipment and then you can join the RTU and get Patrol gear + a whole bunch of cool shit to use.

I totally agree that Patrol should have some exclusives perks as well and I do believe your idea is a step forward in that direction!
