Suggestion Title: Keep the night map around
Suggestion Description: Keeping the night map around besides for Halloween

Why should this be added?:
- The night map is simply amazing and after talking with a lot of people and seeing reactions to it i think the night map should be kept around. Peeps did a wonderful job with it and i think it deserves to be see around more often besides halloween

Aquaa made a idea in the update post about making the server rotate maps weekly or bi-weekly and i honestly think it would be a great idea. The map is truly amazing in so many ways and i feel it brings more life to the city and makes it feel more vibrant and alive.

What negatives could this have?:
- Coding in map rotations
Night map does have some minor lighting issues that need fixed such as PD training area
I did see a post about PPS not being able to deliver to a location because it was closed so that would need fixed

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Not being able to enjoy the night map after halloween

Agreed I’d love to see it stay around. It’s to good to not keep around

I feel like the lightning of night time is far more enjoyable than detailed lighting in the day.

In the day, all people want is just to see.

The city just feels so much more alive and something about patrolling late night with almost no one on in a dark city just hits different for me and others have said the same thing to. Its truly a wonderful map that deserves to be used more often besides Halloween

i think this is a good idea, maybe we could make it so it rotates every server restart?

I do love the night map, but a constant rotation might be too much in terms of every other week.

I think having a day (or two) each week such as fridays and saturdays, or maybe a week every month of the night map would be perfect!

I do also understand if this is a Halloween only feature, as it would be a lot of work for the developers to manage two maps instead of one for any future changes/amendments.

Personally i disagree with this, reaqson being cause it would be it would need server restarts which is unnecessary and on top the day and night cycle wouldnt matter anymore

I think a weekly swap or maybe one week every four would make sense. If it was swapped for a few days every week, people who can only play a few days a week might miss it, or end up playing on it more than intended, etc.

Does the server not already restarted everyday at like 8am UK time?

You can change it when the server normally restarts.

Like you quoted me on, I think a weekly or bi-weekly rotation would be awesome because honestly this version of the map is just so good and I really missed night time as im sure alot of others have as well.

I think the support here will go a long way, although I understand the roadblock of this being an entirely different map but I sincerely hope there’s some workaround or that it’s not too much of an issue to manage.

I think it should be used every Halloween and Christmas (its own festive night map) periods only, perhaps lasting for a minimum of a month. I do love the night map don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t even oppose to what others suggested I think the charm is awesome and it should be kept preserved so being on this map can be used as enticement and a thing to look forwards to as updates progress, because always night really isn’t the way to go in its broadest sense but like mentioned I’d be cool with it anyways

I think it should swap every week. This map should not go unused when there isn't a holiday going on.
