Suggestion Title: Making Mushrooms Great Again
Suggestion Description: In mugs or general crafting activities, you might find yourself lacking certain genetics.
With mushrooms, due to its hard acquisition, it would make sense to buff its benefit to helping grant the user higher crafting genetics like intelligence and perception so they can make Zipties or bandages in the heat of an engagement granted they have the materials rather than just giving a funny high with colorful disco screen.
Resetting genetics for a day where you’re in the mood for mugging then setting it back to pvp genetics costs 10k, mushrooms can save tons of money this way by giving a temporary emergency fix too. They can be grown of course and kept on hand like they currently are.
Additionally, they should statistically boost your crafting speed up to a certain point depending on level of consumption. Not sure if it’s even possible to overdose but it would be nice to have a balancing factor, if not then just being intoxicated should apply it like a effect and when sober it’s gone.
Why should this be added?:
- easy to develop
- a gamble worth taking when necessary
- can create funny moments where a mushroom induced criminal gets is in an engagement
- helps lessen 3.4 breaks due to people prolonging muggings in effort to retrieve zipties, then attracting police attention if they slip where situations turn to shootouts and get dicey.
- buffs a heavily ignored drug in a way that it has a feasible use. By far mushrooms are so undesirable and people barely even do Psychedelic foraging and if so they do it for the 5K reward not to get into mushrooms.
- saves people time on grinding firearms levels
What negatives could this have?:
- ziptie market will take a blow
- a gamble if taken can go very south so some people won’t bother anyway with mushrooms
- ALDI SUD / Vault Corp buff!
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Mushrooms are so neglected we had to have a mission where you sell it for 250$ and get rewarded $5,000. But even that mission is neglected afaik. I believe there can be a ton of pros and little cons to budding mushrooms in this way!
