Suggestion Title: Matches Lighter
Suggestion Description: Stealing Benji’s idea here and adding to it.
Matches should be used to light propane tanks. To counter act the minging, make it so only people with a certain level of genetic level can access this skill.
Example:
3 perception
4 intelligence
1 dexterity
Possibly even make it RNG. That way it’s more of an investment the lower your dexterity is. So 20% difference between all levels.
Dex 1 = 20% chance
Dex 2 = 40%
Dex 3 = 60%
And so on and so forth
Why should this be added?:
- bring back ignition of fuel cans with a heavy barrier to entry to prevent minging
- utilize genetics for in game feature which is a aspect of the game not touched in recent updates (afaik)
- give more use to what I call “crafter genes” so people who raid while min-maxing by going 5 on strength/dexterity/regeneation can really often have more incentive to bring along friends who hold these Other genetics for incase their genetics come in handy.
- adds realism and roleplay elements to the game that make sense without taking away fun but rather hopefully adding another angle of enjoyability.
- cost effective way
- gives cops with a keen eye a way to investigate arson or burning of bodies (Destruction of evidence) by searching suspects for matches to connect them to a crime if they’re in the area. Unlike before where it’s super vague who did it.
What negatives could this have?:
- minges who are super dedicated will go through the effort to do this.
What problem would this suggestion solve?: People I assume can still use molotovs to ignite Fuel cans. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t have time to play perp as of recent and I lost interest a while ago in gmod to focus more on IRL things. That said, this idea reintroduces ignition for real roleplay purposes without allowing the excessively stupid minge behavior to reoccur nearly as often.
